In today’s corporate environment many tools exist to monitor phone calls, emails, internet usage, view the activities on individuals computer monitor, hidden microphones, and use hidden cameras to monitor individuals physical activities. These tools are usually used for quality control and corporate security. Most people understand the need for these tools.
Some people may feel that they are under constant surveillance and this is a form of harassment.
Unfortunately, these technologies can also be used to intentionally harass individuals and induce different psychological disorders. Other individuals can constantly indirectly comment on the individual's computer and phone call activities. This not only gives the individual the impression of being under constant surveillance but also keeps part of his attention focused on the group's indirect comments. The comments are usually of a negative nature to attack the individuals self esteem. Whether or not the comments are negative or positive, they are an indirect form of communication, a form of conditioning. This is a subject that is further covered in the Psychological Manipulation (State of Constant Interrogation) page and induced psychological illness.
This tactic is also used to induce paranoia.
Nanotechnology
Scientist have for many years predicted that Nanotechnologies could be used to control individual's or enslave whole populations.
- Nanotechnology is the next step in technology evolution and it could be used to solve serious problems or create new ones. A big risk or danger is the deliberate design of weapon or control systems for which there is no defense.
- 'In my view the advanced form of nanotechnology is arguably the greatest existential risk that humanity is likely to confront in this century' - Dr Nick Bostrom Oxford University
- 'There’s the potential to do great good with them but there’s also the possibility that we wreck destruction' – Nick Pope British Ministry of Defense ret.
Nanosilver particles are being used today “We’ve developed a machine which we can release again into the body and that machine can target the cancer even when we can’t see that cancer on an MRI or some other imaging modality. You can actually watch the tumors go away, it’s that rapid. They don’t come back and the animals are completely healthy” – David L. Carroll Wake Forest University
Nanotechnology can be used to punch holes into blood vessels, damage the brain, and damage the heart and like any other advanced technology nanotechnology can be used to attack the credibility of victims of crime or used to mimic disease.
Another example is technology that mimics mental illness to increase the attack on the credibility or psychological integrity of a victim of crime.
Nanotechnology can be used to put voices in a person’s head by having nanotechnology attach its self to bone and using bone resonance to put sound or voices in a person’s head for example."

"with advanced technologies like nanotechnology powerful organizations will be more confident in committing crimes against people and society given their vulnerability and lack of defense."
MIT Tooth Implant and Bone Resonance
“Researchers at MIT media Lab Europe have already come up with a design for a tooth implant that receives digital signals from radios and mobile phones.
A micro-vibration device and a wireless receiver (Blue tooth, presumably) are implanted into a natural tooth during dental surgery. Sounds transmitted to the device are transferred from the tooth into the inner ear by bone resonance creating, claim its designers, “pure sound streaming into the consciousness.” Ask your dentist for one today.
Wireless implants will also have some serious applications, says Kuss Wiseman, a wireless product creation guru and consultant. He foresees “embedded drug-delivery and muscle-control devices that can be controlled wirelessly from remote medical facilities.”

Excuse Me, Is Your Tooth Ringing? "The vibrations are on a molecular level, so the user only experiences pure sound streaming into their consciousness," …"We realize that having unwanted sound information arriving directly into the user's brain would resemble technological schizophrenia, therefore maximum control is essential."
Schizophrenia is a psychological disorder that millions of people suffer from.
Hypersonic Sound
Hypersonic Sound. "Think about the ability to focus sound into a crowd of people on a football field and talk only to a selected few."
Ultrasound, beyond the hearing level, used to create audible sound.
Sonic Weapons
The BBC reported in Oct 2006 on a 'mobile' sonic device which is being used in Grimsby, Hull and Lancashire and is designed to deter teenagers from lingering around shops in target areas.
The device works by emitting an ultra-high frequency blast (around 19–20 kHz) that teenagers or people under approximately 20 are susceptible to and find uncomfortable. Age-related hearing loss apparently prevents the ultra-high pitch sound from causing a nuisance to those in their late twenties and above, though this is wholly dependent on a young person's exposure to high sound pressure levels.
During the 2009 G20 summit in Pittsburgh, police used sound cannons against protestors.
Ultrasonic Hearing
Ultrasonic hearing can occur if ultrasound is fed directly into the skull bone and reaches the cochlea through bone conduction without passing through the middle ear.
Sound and Physical Damage
Sound produced by heavy machinery that is under 20 Hz can also affect the body and harm intestines.
Some common bio-effects of electromagnetic or other non-lethal weapons include effects to the human central nervous system resulting in physical pain, difficulty breathing, vertigo, nausea, disorientation, or other systemic discomfort.
Interference with breathing poses the most significant, potentially lethal results. Light and repetitive visual signals can induce epileptic seizures (see Bucha effect). Vection and motion sickness can also occur. Cavitation, which affects gas nuclei in human tissue, and heating can result from exposure to ultrasound and can cause damage to tissue and organs.
Who Will Believe You Factor
When people are targeted by advanced technologies they may feel a sense of powerlessness "helplessness", the "who will believe you" factor. The more advanced the technologies used to target individual's become, the less likely they will be believed.
- We are not aware of any measures or safe guards that exist to protect people from advanced technologies, such as nanotechnologies, now or in the future.
- We do not know if there are any measures or safe guards to determine if advanced technologies are being used on people, now or in the future, if they mimic different psychological or physical disorders.
